The National Pest Management Association Announces New Empowerment Grant For Women

NPMA’s Professional Women in Pest Management is gifted the Annual “Deni Naumann” Empowerment Grant funded by ServiceMaster

The National Pest Management Association is pleased to announce the Deni Naumann Empowerment Grant, funded by ServiceMaster. The grant will be administered by NPMA’s Professional Women in Pest Management (PWIPM) Council.

The grant will begin in 2020 and provides the opportunity for a female in any industry business role to compete for an all-expenses paid trip to attend PestWorld each year, plus $1,000 towards her professional goal. This also enables PWIPM to continue their annual Empowerment Grant program with guaranteed funds for at least one woman per year. To learn more visit: http://npmapestworld.org/pwipm-grant

Nick Varty, CEO, ServiceMaster, made the announcement in conjunction with a retirement party held in Naumann’s honor and hosted by ServiceMaster during Pestworld 2019. Naumann, long recognized as an industry leader and active member of the NPMA Professional Women in Pest Management, has served in many leadership roles during her 13 year tenure with the pest management industry including President of Copesan Services, Inc., Interim President, Terminix Commercial and, most recently, Strategic Advisor/Executive Consultant to ServiceMaster.

“On behalf of NPMA, we thank ServiceMaster for this grant and tribute to Deni’s legacy,” said Dominque Stumpf, NPMA CEO. “This grant will continue to help us build strong leaders for the future growth of our industry.”
