Online Resources to Help Your Business

The power of modern technology is the ability to put resources and opportunities in the hands of those who otherwise would not have access. At QualityPro, our goal has always been to raise the bar and pursue excellence in the industry by setting all of our accredited companies up for success. The best way we know to do that is to make sure everyone has access to the tools and resources they need to shore up what business infrastructure they have, or outsource what they don’t. In the internet age, businesses of any size can thrive using the services and tools we put at their disposal.

You may have gotten a hint of all that’s available at by accessing the OSHA toolbox which, in partnership with NPMA, is available to all companies. We never get tired of telling people about our online database of marketing materials, HR sample forms and policies for your human resources program, and other resources like a fleet management toolkit and manager training.

When we say that we want it to be possible for any business of any size to pursue excellence through QualityPro, we mean it. Our goal is to set everyone up for success, from solo owner-operators to national corporations. A big part of that is saving small business owners the headache of searching the internet for what they need to be compliant with current HR laws by offering online forms and downloadable materials. is a repository of information designed to make it possible for a solo owner-operator to act as their own HR department, marketing department and training department using only online resources—there is basically a sample or form for every step of the pre-hiring-through-hiringprocess.

The idea is to have the Toolbox act as a virtual office support structure that is constantly updating and expanding to encompass changes and improvements. If there’s a resource you feel you will need during the course of running your business, check and if it’s not there, just ask: [email protected].

Regardless of whether you are earning or maintaining QualityPro accreditation, stay tuned for more resources in the OSHA toolkit following the Industry Safety Summit in June. Learn more at

One of the 16 QualityPro standards helps ensure every individual a customer works with when they hire a QualityPro accredited company has the baseline knowledge to do the job. The standard requires all sales and service employees at companies pursuing or maintaining accreditation to pass the QualityPro core exam. This exam proves your training program has prepared each employee to pass a national exam, and the certificate of completion they earn is recognized nationwide. Many companies build the exam into their career path plan for all staff, including office staff who don’t work directly with customers but are proud of the knowledge they have gained. It’s free, so encourage all your employees to take it! Our online testing gives companies immediate access to student results, access to online-hosted study materials, and the mobility to take the test anywhere. And if you’re looking for help with the training part, the NPMA New Hire Training is available in the same place as the QualityPro exams— It’s never been so easy to engage and develop your team.

“In the internet age, businesses of any size can thrive using the services and tools we put at their disposal.”

Once the training standard has been met, the Online Learning Center is built to be a constant resource for improvement as employees pass through their career. Our intention is to make it possible for companies to leverage resources outside their direct organization for training purposes in order to build the most qualified, knowledgeable, informed staff that they can. There are service certification exams (including public health), QualityPro Manager Training and the continuing education classes and webinars offered by NPMA. Our goal is to make it possible for anyone, or any company, to be curious and learn more wherever they are.

QualityPro has online software that tracks spending on government contracts. All public procurement information is public record, but it’s not always easy to find and understand. QualityPro takes some of that headache away by sending current contract opportunities to accredited companies. Behind the scenes, we use this information to reach out to procurement professionals to teach them to appreciate the pest management industry and write bid specs that make sense.

Thanks to technology, it’s never been easier to get access to resources. If you’re interested in any of the resources mentioned here or want to just chat about the challenges your business is facing this year and how we might help, just ask. We’re here to help!
